chapter-18

Introduction

Every child who sits in a classroom in Africa or anywhere else in the world carries inside them the seed of greatness. That seed needs the right conditions to grow. One of the most powerful of those conditions is the presence of a model, someone whose life and work show what is possible when talent meets hard work and determination. The Model-And-Surpass Pedagogy, known as MSP, was invented by Professor Peter A. Okebukola to give teachers a clear, simple, and powerful way to use the lives of great thinkers and achievers as teaching tools. In MSP, students do not just read about the great ones; they are invited to walk in their footsteps and then, with courage and purpose, to walk even further.
